M.B.A. Program Objectives
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program provides students with a business core that offers a broad knowledge of business functions while emphasizing the global business environment.

  • To develop an executive level perspective on economic systems and on the relationship between business and society.
  • To develop a global perspective on business operations.
  • To provide a foundation in concepts and applications of quantitative methods and information technology in the business setting.
  • To stimulate the students' intellectual curiosity, develop their creativity and logic, and encourage an appreciation of demographic diversity and ethical principles.



M.B.A. Course Requirements
Students who completed their bachelor's degree in a non-business field or students with insufficient background in accounting, economics, and business management are required to complete the following prerequisite courses.

Graduation Requirements
The Master's degree is conferred upon satisfactory completion of required quarter units. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 is required.

Up to 16 quarter units (4 courses) of coursework can be accepted for transfer credits from another institution. At least 24 quarter units (6 courses) must be completed in residency at the California University of Management and Sciences. Deviations and substitutions for the requirements must be approved by the Academic Dean.
