Course Numbering System

Course Number
Description
100-299 Courses Offered primarily in the freshman and sophomore years and are generally introductory in nature
300-399 Courses offered primarily for advanced undergraduate students, usually having pre-requisites, bearing graduate degree credit upon the approval of the Advisory committee
500-599 Courses open only to graduate and post-baccalaureate students or seniors with prior approval of the Advisory Committee
600-699 Courses for specialized workshops, seminars, directed studies, independent studies, thesis, dissertation and other similar coursework designed to provide professional and occupational improvement
