The Associate Degree in Healthcare Business Administration
prepares students for entry-level positions in healthcare-related
institutions with the basic knowledge of principles of business,
economics, marketing, and accounting on the one hand and basic
healthcare concepts on the other. This degree may also be taken
by students who wish to pursue higher studies in health-related
professional schools.

Graduation Requirements
The A.S.H.B.A. is conferred upon completion of a minimum of ninety six (96) quarter units The 96 quarter units shall be composed of 24 courses of 4 units each. A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required. The requirements can be summarized as follows:

Up to 40 quarter units (10 courses) of coursework can be accepted for transfer credits from another institution. At least 20 quarter units (5 courses) of Major Courses must be completed in residency at the California University of Management and Sciences. Deviations and substitutions for the requirements must be approved by the Academic Dean.
